TasteWp launches premium Offer

TasteWP Launches Premium Offer

Recently we’re getting asked more and more how it is sustainable to run a service like TasteWP for free. The answer: it isn’t.

That’s why we now launched an optional premium offer. All features that used to be free will remain free. We want to encourage you to upgrade because of the additional features we bring to the table.

Permanent sites, more space & top support

As a free user your TasteWP sites expire after 2 days (if not logged in) or after 7 days (if you’re logged in). If you buy premium sites, they won’t expire.

You’ll also get more space on premium sites: 20 GB instead of the regular 1 GB. And if that’s not enough, you can request more.

To top it off, if there are issues of any kind, we’re happy to provide top support to fix them quickly. For that, please contact us via the chat box at the bottom right or by email.

More premium features are in the pipeline as well: especially the use of your own domain, as well as a few others. Stay tuned.

Fair & easy pricing

Our pricing model is straightforward: You simply buy the number of premium sites you need, which will then enjoy all of the features mentioned above.

The base price is 4.98 USD/month per site, however we offer juicy discounts if you go for several sites and/or for yearly payment instead of monthly:

And as we just launched, we offer an additional discount for a limited time period: simply enter JUSTLAUNCHED on the checkout page to get a further 20% off (this offer will be removed from this post soon!). You can apply it on the checkout screen after clicking here.

How to make a premium site

After you bought the required credits, you can select on the site set-up page that it should be premium:

You can also turn an existing (free) site into a premium, on your dashboard:

If you want to turn a different free site to premium, simply delete the old site, and then click on the above link for the free site you want to make premium. You can always easily migrate files with the pre-installed Backup & Migration plugin.

Which developers benefit most from Premium test sites?

Developers use premium test sites on TasteWP for different purposes, but here are some common examples of when non-expiring Premium test sites are a valuable asset:

  • WordPress dev staging production: Though creating and using a staging site can be a short work of playing around on it, webmasters frequently set it up for a significant rehaul of their main site, and later they migrate this staging site to live. Learn How to Create Free WordPress Staging Site.
  • Building a new site from scratch: Developers that have a job to build a brand new site for the client usually require more space and time for such work, when free test sites won’t fit.
  • Showcasing a WordPress product: Developers often like to showcase their WordPress product from the front end first, before showing their prospects what’s below the hood. Learn more on How to promote WordPress plugin or a theme.
  • Temporary live website: People sometimes need a website that should be active only during a specific timeframe, like for a month or two. That can be during a specific event or a shopping season. You don’t need to waste money on expensive domain and website hosting. TasteWP has you covered for this.

We hope you like the new premium features! For any suggestions or feedback, we’re happy to hear about it.
